LAHORE: The Punjab caretaker government inaugurated the Mayo Cancer Care Hospital at Manawan here on Wednesday.

It announced the provision of free treatment facility to the patients in the cancer hospital.

“Every patient will be provided free treatment and the patient diagnosed with any stage of cancer will not be denied treatment,” Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi said.

The cancer hospital comprises 100-beds. The government has set a target of up to 1,000 beds when it will be developed fully in in coming years. Mr Naqvi visited the cancer hospital and reviewed facilities being provided to the patients.
