LAHORE: PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif has urged minority communities to vote for his party in the Feb 8 polls for the prosperity of the country.

Speaking at the representatives of the minority communities here on Thursday, Mr Sharif said during his tenure as prime minister some unfortunate incidents against Christians (Jaranwala case) took place in which those involved were brought to justice.

He said the PML-N always had preferences for the minority communities representation in the lower and upper houses of the parliament and other assemblies.

“Making Kamran Michael federal minister in the past is reflective of Nawaz Sharif’s love for minorities,” he said.

He urged them to vote for the PML-N into power so that the party government could ensure their peaceful living and providing them opportunities to contribute in the development of the country.
