KARACHI: After Punjab, the Sindh government has also announced four-day election holidays in province’s educational institutions.

It announced on Thursday that all educational institutions shall remain closed from Feb 6 to 9 due to polling stations being established on the premises of schools and engagement of teaching and non-teaching staff in election duties.

A public holiday has already been declared for Feb 5 in connection with Kashmir Day. Majority of the educational institutions will reopen on Feb 12 due to weekly off on Feb 10 and 11 (Saturday and Sunday).
