ISLAMABAD: A student of a private university was allegedly gang-raped in the capital, police said on Friday.

A case was registered with Shalimar police station under sections 375 (rape) and 292 (sale, etc., of obscene books) of the PPC against the two rapists in response to the complaint lodged by the complainant, police added.

One of the suspects is a student at the same university, and the other was his friend, they said.

According to the FIR, she was acquainted with the students of other courses at the same university.

On Tuesday, she went to E-11/2 with one of the students along with his other friend on the pretext of a meal.

After some time, they took her to a flat and raped her. They also made a video and threatened her by saying that they would make it viral when she shouted, the FIR said.
