TOBA TEK SINGH: A young man was shot dead in Jaranwala over an old enmity on Monday.

Police said deceased Ashfaq of Rasoolpura locality was attacked by his rival, Imtiaz, and his accomplices. He received multiple bullet injuries and died instantly.

Meanwhile, a minor boy, identified as Subhan, 5, son of Muhammad Akmal, died after he was run over by a tractor-trolley at Chak 120-JB, at Faisalabad.

The child was in the street when he was run over by the vehicle and received serious injuries. He succumbed to his injuries when he was being shifted to the Allied Hospital.
