LAHORE: Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has ordered a thorough investigation into allegations of rigging in the Feb 8 general elections in Rawalpindi division as claimed by former commissioner Liaquat Ali Chattha.

Mr Chattha leveled some serious allegations of rigging in the Feb 8 general elections in Rawalpindi division.

In a “top priority” letter to the Chief Minister Inspection Team (CMIT) chairman, Mr Naqvi says a thorough investigation into the allegations may be conducted and a comprehensive report containing clear recommendations in this regard be submitted within seven days positively.
