LAHORE: Domestic violence survivor Rizwana, 14, was hospitalised on Tuesday for the treatment of multiple infections she developed at the Child Protection Bureau where she was kept after her treatment at the Lahore General Hospital (LGH) in December.

She underwent multiple surgeries at the LGH, which she had suffered at the home of a civil judge in Islamabad where she was allegedly tortured.

LGH doctors said they were planning another surgery of Rizwana on Friday.
