The PTI has said that the public’s vote for independent candidates backed by the party was a vote against “corrupt individuals”, referring to the probable coalition government comprising the PML-N and the PPP.

“People came out in numbers and voted for Imran Khan. They want him to be the sole ruler of the country. Voting for Imran Khan was a vote against these corrupt individuals,” the PTI’s Lahore chapter said in a post on X.

“However, these mandate thieves are fully prepared to form a government by stealing votes. This way, Pakistan will further descend into darkness,” it added.
