PML-N leader Uzma Bukhari has assailed the PTI for objecting to a session of the Punjab Assembly being summoned today.

Speaking to the media in Lahore, Bukhari highlighted that the PTI merged with the Sunni Ittehad Council “15 days after the elections” and submitted its list of reserved seats when others had even submitted their asset documentation.

“If you are incompetent to the extent that you cannot fulfil your responsibilities, then you cannot question me [about it],” she said.

“If the ECP does not decide for 20 days, will there be no session of House for 20 days?” she asked.

“If they are not getting reserved seats due to their lack of intelligence[ and] incompetence, it is their concern,” Bukhari asserted, adding that there were no such legal requirements present to summon a session.
