PTI-backed SIC lawmaker Asad Qaiser has demanded that the Supreme Court constitute a judicial commission on the issue of the cipher that is at the heart of the PTI’s allegation of foreign involvement in their ouster.

Before Qaiser spoke, Bilawal endorsed the PTI’s demand for a judicial commission to investigate the May 9 events.

Speaking on the floor of the National Assembly, Qaiser said, “Our party’s stance on it is very clear; that the Supreme Court constitutes a judicial commission.”

“Will we Pakistanis be treated like this?” he asked. Qaiser said that the PML-N used to hold press conferences claiming there was “no such cipher and there was no reality behind it” but at the same time, the same cipher was “made a basis for convictions against Imran Khan”.
