KARACHI: Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab has warned the officials of the anti-encroachment department to ensure removal of illegal structures in their respective districts for smooth flow of traffic during Ramazan or be ready to face action.

Chairing a meeting to review role of the anti-encroachment department in ensuring smooth flow of traffic, he sought suggestions for better planning and execution during the month of fasting. He also issued directives for immediate clearance of all choking points that affected smooth flow of traffic in the city.

“Take the removal of encroachments and smooth flow of traffic as key challenges during Ramazan,” he said.
