TOBA TEK SINGH: Anti-terrorism court judge Muhammad Hussain issued on Monday warrants for the arrest of PTI-Sunni Ittehad Council MNA from Faisalabad Ali Afzal Sahi with a direction to police to produce him before him on Tuesday (today) in a case registered against him on May 9, 2023, under section 7 of Anti-Terrorism Act by Faisalabad Civil Lines police.

Sahi was charged with attacking and ransacking ISI office in Faisalabad during riots occurred on May 9 after the arrest of PTI chairman Imran Khan.

ARRESTED: Faisalabad’s Mansoorabad police arrested on Monday suspect Ihsanul Haq Sanha who had fled from police custody.

An official said Sanha was produced in a court three weeks ago in a robbery and extortion of money case from where he managed to escape due to the alleged police negligence.

He had been hiding in Sindh and the police arrested him when he returned to his home in Faisalabad.

INJURED: A train passenger was critically injured as he fell down from the running Millat Express near Shorkot Cantonment Railway Station on Monday.
