KARACHI: The Palestine Foundation on Wednesday announced that it would hold demonstrations, protests, seminars, rallies and walks to highlight the atrocities of Israel and mobilise the people to stand with the oppressed Arab people.

Addressing a press conference at the Karachi Press Club, the Palestine Foundation leaders called for an immediate halt to Israeli aggression in Gaza, labeling the US as the primary responsible party for the situation there.

They said that they would mark Ramazan as the ‘Month of Palestine’.

They added that a campaign would also be launched across the country to expose the illegitimate Zionist state under the auspices of the United States, Great Britain and Western governments, which is committing systematic genocide of the Palestinians.

Those who addressed the press conference included Dr Sabir Abu Maryam, Allama Baqir Zaidi, Allama Qazi Ahmed Noorani, Muslim Pervez, Mahfouz Yar Khan, Israr Abbasi, Azhar Hamdani, Younis Boniri, Retd Major Qamar Abbas, Karamat Ali and Bashir Sadouzai.

The foundation’s leaders strongly condemned the relations of Muslim countries with Israel, saying that the children in Gaza had started dying of hunger and famine, but the rulers of Muslim countries continue to supply oil, gas and food items to Israel. They called upon the Muslim and Arab governments to sever all ties with Israel.
