PTI leader Asad Qaiser has raised doubts about whether incarcerated party founder Imran Khan has approved the list of candidates put forth by the party for the upcoming senate elections.

When asked on DawnNewsTV on the programme ‘Doosra Rukh’, whether he was satisfied that genuine people were coming to the Senate and the picks were made Imran Khan, he said:

“I don’t really understand [what’s going on]. I don’t know if Imran approved it or not. I don’t want to get into it.

He added that PTI leader Omer Sarfraz Cheema is entitled to a Senate ticket.
