SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: Four people were killed, and seven, including children, were injured when the roof of a room collapsed in the Raghzai area of Tehsil Birmal, district South Waziristan, on Sunday.

Locals informed that the house was owned by Afsar Khan, adding that those who died were four girls and a boy.

Rescue officials said that the bodies and the injured, all from the same family, were taken to the hospital, with two individuals in critical condition.

Police said that the house, situated 15km from the district headquarters in Wana, was in a dilapidated state. They also noted that Afsar was unable to repair the house due to financial constraints.
