ISLAMABAD, March 8: The Pakistan spikers competing in the Asian Central Zone Championship in Colombo edged India in five sets in their first match on Wednesday.
A spokesman for the Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF) said that the national team carved out a 25-19, 21-25, 22-25, 25-22, 15-9 victory.
Zaheer Abbas, Zaheer Khan, Mohammad Zaman and Zafar Koria played key role in the win.
Pakistan will play Maldives on Friday.
