LAHORE: The Board of Revenue’s (BoR’s) full-board meeting has decided to expand the agricultural graduate scheme, revamping of the Lumbardar system and auction of property of defaulters.

The BoR’s full board meeting, chaired by Senior Member Board of Revenue Nabil Javed at board’s committee room on Friday, decided to expand the scheme and instructed that the leased land should be used for the purpose for which it was leased. Mr Javed also directed the secretary colonies to create the portal.

The board reviewed the stamp duty and withholding tax referred by National Accountability Bureau for the cooperative board for liquidation, Punjab. It also approved clubbing of Khewat numbers in the land record in Sahiwal.

BoR secretary Shafqatullah Mushtaq presented the agenda for the establishment of the “Additional Patti” (additional posts of Lumberdars), and the board reviewed the establishment of additional patti in Khanewal and Jahanian.
