LAHORE: Seven people were injured, three in firing and four in a cylinder blast incident, in the city on Tuesday.

Three people, including a woman, were allegedly shot at and injured in the Kahna area during a monetary dispute.

A police official said the shooting occurred when two local parties engaged in a heated argument over a disputed amount and later exchanged gunfire in which Shamoon, Zunair, and Sajida sustained bullet wounds and were taken to a local hospital. The police arrested two suspects at the scene.

In another incident, four members of a family suffered burns when a gas cylinder exploded at their home in Badami Bagh due to a leakage.

Emergency services, including Rescue 1122 ambulances, controlled the fire and shifted the injured people to hospital.
