PESHAWAR: Three persons died and one sustained injuries when rival groups traded fire over a monetary dispute in the jurisdiction of Khazana police station here on Saturday.

A statement issued by the city police said the bodies and the injured person were shifted to a hospital.

Meanwhile, a police constable was killed when unidentified persons opened fire at him on Inqilab Road.

The city police said constable Zarshad, posted at Michni Gate police station, was on his way home when unidentified assailants fired at him, leaving him dead on the spot. The body was shifted to a hospital. A case was lodged against unidentified persons.
