KURRAM: The police on Wednesday arrested a shopkeeper for allegedly assaulting a boy and making video of the act to blackmail him.

A case was registered against the shopkeeper on the complaint of a 14-year-old boy, who told the police that the accused, Syed Tahir assaulted him forcibly, and also made video of the act to blackmail him.

After registration of the case, the police raided the shop and arrested the accused. They also recovered a computer system from the shop, which contained a few objectionable videos.

The police said that the accused would be produced in the court on Thursday (today) to obtain his remand for further interrogation.
