Fantastic Four coming up on Fortnite
Fortnite might be welcoming the Fantastic Four in its next Marvel season. Trusted Fortnite insider ShiinaBR on X shared this rumour, suggesting a Marvel-themed season featuring the superhero team could kick off in August 2024.
Interestingly, this potential collaboration comes ahead of the release of a new Fantastic Four film next year, hinting at Fortnite’s strategic content plans. The leaked Fortnite 2024 roadmap teases crossovers with Fall Guys, Metallica, The Pirates of the Caribbean, and more. Despite the lack of official confirmation, anticipation is building for what Fortnite has in store for this year.
Dave Bautista’s spy comedy My Spy 2
My spy: The Eternal City gets a first-look image and now has its release date confirmed. Released in 2020, My Spy stars Dave Bautista as JJ, a no-nonsense CIA operative who meets his match with a strong-willed nine-year-old girl, Sophie (Chloe Coleman), whose family he is tasked with surveilling.
The sequel, which will debut on Prime Video, sees JJ chaperoning Sophie’s school trip, only for the pair to end up entangled in a terrorist plot targeting the CIA Chief.
Now, Prime Video shares a new look at My Spy: The Eternal City, in addition to confirming that the sequel will be released on the service on July 18.
Uncertainty surrounds The Hunchback of Notre Dame
The Hunchback of Notre Dame is one of the most gorgeous and beloved Disney movies of all time and fans have been begging for The Hunchback of Notre Dame to get its own live-action remake. The potential for the film has been a mystery since it was first confirmed in 2019.
Tony-winning M. Butterfly playwright David Henry Hwang has been set by Disney to write Hunchback, a live-action musical adaptation of the Victor Hugo novel. Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz will write the music. Mandeville is producing along with Josh Gad.
But we have yet to hear confirmation on when shooting for the live-action adaptation of the film will take flight.
