QUETTA: Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) Chairman Mehmood Khan Achakzai has sent a legal notice to former caretaker information minister Jan Achakzai and Quetta Deputy Commissioner Saad Bin Asad for levelling false allegations of occupying a piece of land illegally and registering an FIR against him.

The notice sent by Mr Achakzai through his lawyers said the false allegations damaged the reputation of his and other members of his family.

The PkMAP chairman said the former caretaker information minister and deputy commissioner should apologise to him and his family in a press conference within seven days after receiving the notice.

“If they failed to tender an apology within the given time, they have to pay Rs20 billion as damages and if they failed to pay the damages, legal process would be initiated against them,” the notice said.
