LARKANA: A woman and her four children suffered critical wounds when a dacoits’ gang fired rocket at their house in Khokhar village on Naudero-Ratodero road in the jurisdiction of Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto police station late on Friday night.

The wounded Ms Nadira, 36, her daughters Sumera Khokhar,13, and Tabssum,7, and sons Abdul Razzak,11, and Momin Khokhar,10, were immediately shifted to a Naudero hospital from where they were later taken to Chandka Medical College Hospital due to their precarious condition.

Police arrived in the village after the suspects escaped from the crime scene.

Larkana SSP Dr Mir Rohail Khoso and the area DSP and SHO visited the crime scene and met the injured in the hospital. A police team had gone after the attackers with the help of official footprint trackers, said police officials.

Naudero police station’s SHO Mohammad Mangrio said the attack could be in revenge for the arrest of two criminals of Dahani clan in Mirpur Bhutto village a few days back.

He suspected the people of Dahani clan were behind the attack.
