QUETTA: President Asif Ali Zardari arrived on a two-day visit to the provincial capital, on Monday.

Balochistan Governor Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhel, Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti, PPP leader Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, provincial ministers and leaders of PPP and PML-N received the president at the airport. Later, the chief minister, along with members of his cabinet, called on President Zardari at the CM House and discussed various issues of the province, including development projects.

The president will preside over a meeting on development projects in Balochistan during his stay in Quetta. Officials will brief Mr Zardari on development schemes, the law and order situation and other issues.
