PESHAWAR: The provincial government has appointed pro vice-chancellors of four universities and also assigned the charge of vice-chancellor of three varsities to other officers, a notification issued here on Friday said.

According to it, Prof Jahanzeb of the department of psychology has been appointed as the pro-VC of the University of Peshawar, Prof Mohammad Tahir pro-VC of Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan, Maqsood Haider pro-VC of Fata University and Prof Aurangzeb Khan pro-VC of University of Science and Technology, Bannu.

The additional charge of VC of University of Chitral has been assigned to the vice-chancellor of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University, Shringal, the notification said.

The additional charge of Mardan Women University VC has been assigned to VC of Peshawar Women University.

The additional charge of VC University of Engineering and Applied Sciences has been assigned to VC of University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar.
