The United Nations Agency for Palestinian Refugees said that it had suspended food distribution in the southern Gaza city of Rafah over supply issues and insecurity, AFP reports.
“Food distributions in Rafah are currently suspended due to lack of supplies and insecurity,” UNRWA said in a post on social media platform X.
The agency’s distribution centre, as well as that of the World Food Programme, both in Rafah, were inaccessible due to ongoing Israeli military operations, the UN reported.
