LAHORE: The Pakistan Hockey Federation finally secured visas for the national team on Thursday for it to travel to the Netherlands for a short preparatory camp ahead of the FIH Nations Cup.

The side was to fly to the home country of their head coach Roelant Oltmans three days earlier, however, mismanagement on the part of the PHF lead to the delay in the application of the visas.

It would be important for Pakistan to put on a good show in the Nations Cup to boost their place in the international rankings. The tournament is scheduled to be played from May 31 to June 9 in Poland.
