OKARA: A man and his son were booked for raping a 22-year-old female relative, who became pregnant as a result.
The survivor was living with her elder sister due to a residential issue.
The suspect, husband of her sister, raped the survivor at gunpoint and took nude photos of her, which he used to threaten and blackmail her.
Later, suspect’s son from a previous marriage obtained the photos and also started raping her.
The survivor’s brother filed a case against the two suspects under sections 376 and 292-C of the Pakistan Penal Code. The suspects are still at large.
ELECTROCUTED: Nine-year-old Hasan was electrocuted at brick kiln quarters in village Bonga Khan Singh.
The boy had switched on the water pump and touched the water tap, resulting in a fatal electric shock. He was pronounced dead on the spot.
