LAHORE: The Shadman police are conducting raids to arrest a hospital employee for allegedly raping a patient’s attendant on May 23.

A complaint was filed by a woman whose father was admitted to the hospital for a heart bypass.

She stated that a hospital employee offered to help expedite the heart bypass surgery.

The employee called her to the second floor of the institute around 12am, where she was forced into a room and sexually assaulted.

The alleged survivor says she chose not to make a scene due to her family’s reputation and instead reported the incident to the police and underwent a medical examination.
