GUJRANWALA: A woman allegedly killed her four-year-old physically-challenged daughter at Baliki area in Wanike police precincts on Monday.

The woman had divorced her husband and remarried, having children with her current husband. The girl’s father alleged that his daughter was killed and buried without his knowledge, preventing him from filing a police case.

He alleged that the police have colluded with the suspect. The mother allegedly killed her daughter due to frustration with her disability, he said.

He claimed that the police refused to file a case. When he approached the Vanike police station with a request to investigate his daughter’s murder, the SHO said, “Go, we will not register a case. Go and contact the court. If the court gives an order, we will register a case.”

The father of the murdered daughter has demanded that the IG and the chief minister take notice of the incident.
