RAWALPINDI: The National Highway Authority (NHA)’s Soan Bridge expansion project is scheduled to be completed on August 31, 2024.

“However, with committed teamwork and day and night efforts the roads and bridges will be accessible to all types of traffic starting on June 10.” This was stated by the Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) on Wednesday.

It said the Leh-Soan Bridge expansion project was awarded to M/S AK Communication in December 2017. And the contract was terminated due to inefficiency in April 2022.

The contract was re-tendered and awarded to the FWO in December 2023.
