NORTH WAZIRISTAN: A policeman was killed in a targeted attack in Shivah tehsil of North Waziristan district here on Monday.

The incident occurred in Almara village when unknown motorcyclists opened fire on Abdur Rahim outside his house. As a result, the policeman died instantly. The attackers managed to escape.

The police launched an investigation into the incident.

On May 26, two people were killed in a targeted attack by unknown persons in Mirali.
