QUETTA: Baloc­histan government has approved Rs1.4 billion for the payment of salaries and pensions to employees, inclu­ding professors, of the universities in the province.

The Education Depart­ment has approved Rs700 million for the University of Balochistan, Rs390m for Buitems, Rs100m for Sardar Bahadur Khan Women’s University, Rs32.50m for Loralai Univ­e­rsity, Rs77m for Lasbela University, Rs77.26m for Turbat Univ­ersity, and Rs31.80m for Mir Chakar Khan Rind University Sibi.
