MUZAFFARGARH: Police arrested on Friday a seminary teacher for allegedly raping his two minor students students and threatening them with torture if they disclosed the assaalt.

As per Daira Din Pannah police, the complainant, Jalal Din, said in his application that his son and a nephew, aged between 10-12 years, had been studying at Madressah Yaseen at Chak No 143/ML for a couple of months.

He said the boys told him that their teacher ‘F’ raped them at the seminary and threatened them with torture if they told anybody about the assault.

On the complaint, the police registered the case against the suspect under section 376-iii, 377-B.

The police say they have arrested the suspect, while the boys were sent to hospital for the medical examination.

DIES: A man dies after being struck by lightening, while another was critically injured in the incident occurring near Adda 1-R, Sultan Colony Road, Sinawan, Kot Addu on Friday.

According to locals,Zubair (22) and Fiaz (25) were on a motorcycle when lightning struck, leaving the former dead on the spot, while the latter was critically injured.

On being informed by the locals about the incident, a Rescue 1122 team arrived on the scene and shifted the body and the injured man to hospital, where his condition was said to be critical.

The incident occurred during the rain that lashed the area for hours.
