KHUZDAR: Police with the help of some district administration officials on Saturday recovered five labourers, who had been abducted for ransom a few days ago by armed men from Kalat district, officials said.

The five workers of a private construction company had been kidnapped from the Nichari area of Kalat district a few days back, the officials said, explaining that Rs40 million ransom had been demanded for their release.

The officials said senior police officer Jan Mohammad Langove, along with Kalat Assistant Commissioner Nasir Ahmed supervised the operation.
