MUZAFFARGAHR: A man killed his wife due to domestic violence on Sunday in Rangpur town in the suburb of Muzaffargarh, According to Rangpur police, Allah Bukhsh, killed his 22-year-old wife Amna Mai in a domestic violence incident.

The police registered a case against the accused and shifted the body to the hospital for postmortem examination. The accused fled the scene after opening fire on his wife, but police say he will be arrested soon.

HELD: The Layyah police arrested a gang of thieves and recovered six stolen vehicles worth Rs20 million on Sunday. The Model City Police, led by SHO Irfan Iftikhar, conducted an operation against the criminal elements and arrested the gang.

The stolen property recovered includes three cars, one Hilux luxury vehicle, one high-roof van, and other valuables worth Rs20 million. Layyah District Police Officer Asadul Rehman handed over the keys of the recovered vehicles to their original owners.
