LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Thursday sought reports from the home department and police about the alleged abduction of the brothers of PTI social media head Azhar Mashwani and former adviser to prime minister Shahbaz Gill.

Justice Syed Shahbaz Ali Rizvi heard a petition of Mashwani’s father Qazi Habibur Rehman, seeking recovery of his two sons -- Zahoorul Hassan and Mazharul Hassan.

A law officer filed a report on behalf of additional IG denying custody of the alleged missing sons of the petitioner.

The police officer, present in the court, stated that CCTV footage provided by the petitioner about the alleged abduction of the brothers had been sent to the forensic science agency for its examination.
