RAWALPINDI: A teenage girl was sexually abused allegedly by her neighbour in Naseerabad area, police said.

The mother of the rape victim lodged an FIR with the police on Saturday saying that her 14-year-old daughter had been in distress for the last couple of days.

When she inquired from her, she revealed that she had been cleaning the drain outside her house in her parents’ absence when the suspect who lived in the neighborhood came from behind and dragged her inside the house and forced her to have a cold drink.

After taking the drink she fell unconscious and the suspect allegedly sexually assaulted her.

Police have registered a case on the complaint of the victim’s mother, but have yet to arrest the suspect.
