Boy dies as pistol goes off by accident

LAHORE: A minor boy died from a bullet injury at his home in Shahdara area here on Wednesday.

The initial police inquiries suggested that Ayan was playing with the pistol belonging to his family when it suddenly went off. A bullet hit the boy which proved fatal, the police said adding the body of the boy was handed over to the family after legal formalities.

In another incident, a Rescue 1122 team recovered the body of 14-year-old Ghulam Abbas from an open drain near Mahmood Booti. The boy had drowned accidentally in the drain near Ali Town.
