QUETTA: A sessions court in Balochistan sentenced a man to death three times for the brutal murders of three children and causing injury to their sister in the Killi Ghulam Mohammad area of the provincial capital.

Sessions Judge Sariab Najeebullah Kakar delivered the verdict, which also included a fine of Rs500,000.

“The murderer should be given the death sentence three times and he must pay Rs500,000 in fine for murdering two brothers, their sister and injuring one sister,” the verdict said on Tuesday.

According to the prosecution, Mohammad Iqbal killed two brothers and their sister by slitting their throats and injured another sister with a sharp weapon.

The victims, aged four to nine years, were identified as Zainullah, 6; Muhammad Hasnain, 4; and Aqsa Bibi, 8, while Kashmala Bibi was injured in the incident.
