Police post in Peshawar hit by rocket

PESHAWAR: A police post situated in the Regi Model Town here was slightly damaged after militants fired a rocket at it on Thursday night.

City police said that militants fired a rocket at the police post in Warsak area, partially damaging its wall.

They added that the police launched a search operation in the area following the attack.

Meanwhile, Capital City Police Officer Peshawar Qasim Ali Khan visited several police stations and police posts in Warsak, according to a statement.

The CCPO checked the security arrangements at police stations and posts and the functioning of the CCTV cameras.
