LAHORE: Makhdum Syed Ahmad Mahmud, Punjab’s leading thoroughbred breeder, has been elected as chairman of the Lahore Race Club (LRC) following the resignation of incumbent chief Mohammad Kaleem Khan.

Makhdum’s name once again appeared on the official race card published for Sunday’s races at the Lahore Race Club heading the ten-steward panel which retained the name of Kaleem as one of the stewards.
