ISLAMABAD: Ministry of Federal Housing and Works on Wednesday said the Turkish government had been showing keen interest in investing in Green Enclave II (Sky Gardens) projects near Bhara Kahu.
Housing and Works Minister Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada, along with Secretary Dr Shahzad Khan Bangash, visited Green Enclave-I and Green Enclave II projects.
According to a press release, the Turkish commercial counsellor was also present during the visit and showed interest in investing in the projects.
The minister commended the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority’s performance and committed to monthly monitoring visits to oversee project progress. He expressed his appreciation to Director General retired Capt Mohammad Zafar Iqbal, senior officers, employees and Sky Gardens CEO Chaudhary Ismail for their contributions to Green Enclave II.
Minister Pirzada said possession letters for most allottees of Project Green Enclave-II would be issued after August 14. He emphasised the need for swift completion of additional facilities, both commercial and residential within both schemes.
Green Enclave-I Bhara Kahu covers approximately 3,375 kanals of land in Islamabad, with development work progressing rapidly. Additionally, the Housing Authority’s Project Green Enclave II (Sky Garden) in Bara Kahu, Islamabad, is a joint venture with a private firm.
The first part of Green Enclave-II, is nearing completion. Development on approximately 2,403 kanals is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2025. Work on the initial phase, consisting of Blocks A, B, C, D, and E, is underway, with 20pc of Block D completed owing to diligent efforts of the technical staff.
