LAHORE: The Bank of Punjab (BoP) announced on Thursday to establish its offices in the UAE and Bahrain.

The decision was taken in a meeting of the board of directors of the bank. Under the decision, the bank will soon establish a representative office in the UAE and a Wholesale Banking Unit (WBU) in Bahrain after approval from the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and other regulators. By establishing a presence in these key international markets, the BoP aims to foster stronger financial ties internationally.

Currently, the BoP is set to close 2024 with over 900 branches and by 2025 the bank aims to achieve the milestone of 1,000 branches.
