KARACHI: Health professionals representing Pakistan recently participated in the 4th China-Pakistan Medical Conference held in Shanghai where they discussed opportunities for cooperation in healthcare.

A 55-member delegation of Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) led by Dr Abdul Ghafoor Shoro, secretary general PMA, participated in the conference.

The conference saw the experts engaged in insightful discussions, workshops, presentations and networking sessions, sharing their research findings, clinical experiences, and technological advancements in the medical field

In his opening remarks, Dr Shoro emphasised the importance of international cooperation in advancing healthcare initiatives and fostering strong professional relationships between China and Pakistan. He praised the efforts of all attendees in promoting medical excellence and innovation.
