ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad police on Thursday arrested Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Islamabad region’s president Amir Mughal outside the Deputy Commissioner’s office ahead of the party’s planned power show in the federal capital.

PTI is scheduled to hold a power show on July 6 in the Tarnol area, constituency of Mughal who contested the last general election from there.

A PTI leader stated Mughal had gone to the DC office for a meeting with concerned officers regarding the party’s power show in Tarnol.

However, he was arrested by Islamabad Police in day time.
