LAKKI MARWAT: Dead body of a married woman was found in her room in Khadri Mamandkhel area of Bannu on Friday.

Police identified the deceased woman as Shana Bibi, 18, and said that there were gunshot wounds on her body. They said that Gulabano, mother of the deceased girl, reported the incident to police and her dead body was shifted to the DHQ hospital.

The cantonment police station registered a case under relevant sections of law and began investigation.

Separately, a man was killed and a teenager injured over an old murder enmity in Taji Kallay area of Bannu on Friday.

Police said that the shooting incident occurred in the limits of Miryakhel police station.

They said that Attaullah, 45, was murdered and Israr, 19, was wounded when their rivals including Noor Wali Khan and Nafid opened fire on them.

They said that the attackers fled the scene after committing the crime and the dead body and injured was taken to DHQ hospital.

In another firing incident, a proclaimed offender was killed by his rivals in Chuharkhel area of Lakki Marwat district.

Police said that the deceased Salahuddin, 35, had an old murder enmity with the killers, and he was wanted by Darra Pezu and Shahbazkhel police in murder, attempted murder, robbery and terrorism related cases. The police registered a case against the accused and started investigation.

E-COMMERCE TRAINING: More than one thousand male and female students have applied for the e-commerce and freelancing training, organised by the district administration in Bannu.

“The initiative has been launched on the directives of deputy commissioner Bannu Shah Saud to acquaint youth with e-commerce and freelancing,” said an official on Friday.

He said that a total of 1085 aspirants had applied for the training of which 50 students would be selected on the basis of an online test.

He said that the district administration would arrange a month-long training for the selected students.
