ISLAMABAD: A young man was hospitalised after allegedly being stabbed by a woman while strolling in a park of sector G-6-1/2 on Friday.

According to sources, the unidentified woman and the victim arrived at the park together and had a conversation during which she stabbed him in the neck.

The injured was taken to Polyclinic where he was stated to be in a critical condition.

A police spokesman confirmed that the incident was reported but no woman had yet been found in the park.

The actual circumstances can be known when the victim regains his consciousness and is allowed to give a statement by the doctors, said the spokesman.
