KARACHI: Farrukh H. Khan, the CEO of Pakistan Stock Exchange Ltd, submitted his resignation, which the PSX board accepted on Friday.

The PSX board of directors held an emergency meeting on Friday to consider and accept Mr Farrukh’s resignation submitted on July 4, 2024. His two-month notice period ends on Sept 2.

Earlier, the PSX announced that Mr Farrukh tendered his resignation to pursue other opportunities.

Mr Farrukh has been working with PSX since February 2020, and in February 2023, the PSX Board of Directors extended his tenure as CEO for an additional three years.
