LAHORE: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) announced the position holders of the matriculation (secondary school certificate, SSC) annual examination-2024 on Monday.

In the over-all top positions for the science and humanities groups among both boys and girls, Muhammad Ayyan Kashif from Daanish High School for Boys, Tehsil Piplan, district Mianwali, secured the first position with 1,190 marks. Maheen Sajjad and Moeez Haider jointly secured the second position with 1,186 marks, while four students, Abeera Asghar, Ubaidullah Usman, Zainab Asif, and Sehar Shakeel, shared the third position with 1,185 marks.

For the Science Group (Boys), Muhammad Ayyan Kashif stood first with 1,190 marks, Moeez Haider second with 1,186 marks, and Ubaidullah bagged third position with 1,185 marks.

In the Science Group (Girls), Maheen Sajjad attained the first position with 1,186 marks, Abeera Asghar and Zainab Asif shared the second position with 1,185 marks, and Laiba secured the third position with 1,184 marks.

The Humanities Group (Boys) saw Ghulam Hamayoun Din in the first position with 1,073 marks, Ahteshamul Haq in second with 1,071 score, and Muhammad Farhan third with 1,061 marks.

In the Humanities Group (Girls), Hafsa and Maira Imran jointly held the first position with 1,152 marks, Hafiza Kainat Amir secured the second position with 1,147 marks, and Maria Khurrum stood third with 1,137 score.

A ceremony to announce the position holders was held at the BISE office. Commissioner/BISE Chairman Zaid bin Maqsood chaired the event and announced the names of the position holders.

He congratulated the students and encouraged them to continue working hard for a better future. BISE Secretary Bushra Bibi and Controller Muhammad Zahid Mian were also present.

The complete result will be announced on Tuesday (today).

BAHAWALPUR: In the Bahawalpur Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Akasha Tariq of City Grammar High School secured the first position with 1193 marks, followed by Manam Shahid Shaukat of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Satellite Town, with 1190 marks.

Muhammad Waqar Ahmed Shah of National Garrison Secondary School, Rahim Yar Khan, and Muhammad Ali Haider of Government Model Secondary School, Khanpur, both scored 1,187 marks, sharing the third position.

TOBA TEK SINGH: In the Faisalabad BISE, Arooj Fatima of Faisalabad Divisional Public School gained the top position by securing 1,189 marks. Muhammad Faiq of Government High School, Chak 239-RB, Faisalabad, and Ali Ahmad of Toba Divisional Public School jointly held the second position, each with 1,187 marks. Muazzam Tufail of The Educators Police Public School, Faisalabad, got the third position with 1,186 marks.

SARGODHA: All position holders among boys and girls belong to the underdeveloped remote areas of District Bhakkar.

In the science group (boys), three candidates shared the first position, each securing 1,187 marks: Muhammad Ali Abdullah of Government Model High School, Bhakkar; Shehryar Khan of Jinnah Public Boys Higher Secondary School, Piplan (Mianwali); and Sajjad Ahmed of Pakistan Public Higher Secondary School, Dullewala Bhakkar.

In the science group (girls), Esha Zafar of Government Girls High School, Chah Chimney (Bhakkar), got the first position with 1,183 marks. Abeera Bibi of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Maibal Sharif (Bhakkar), got the second position with 1,181 marks. Ayesha Zafar of Comprehensive Girls Model High School, 66-Y Satellite Town, Sargodha, and Saima Karan of Nafees Future Vision Public Girls High School, Jandan Wala (Bhakkar), shared the third position with 1,180 marks.

In the Humanities Group for boys, Abdullah Basit Ali of Sanai School System (Boys), Sargodha, got the first position with 1,126 marks. Umer Hasan of Government CTTM High School, Bhakkar, got the second position with 1,107 marks. Syed Faizan Ali Shah of Khushab got the third position with 1,106 marks. Among the female students, Noor Fatima of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Chak No. 88/SB, Sargodha, got the first position with 1,139.
